I noticed a nail in one of my tires before taking a trip. It being Sunday I was limited in my options. I stopped in and asked if they plugged tires. They said sure. After the tire was fixed I was given a bill for $56.00. I said a plug should never cost more then $20.00, she said they had to use a patch. For thirty six extra dollars it should be a Louis Vuitton path. I live right up the street. If they would overcharge me like this how would they treat a vacationer.
Dan, sorry that you feel that way, the tire was leaking from an old plug. We needed to dismount the tire and remove the old plug. After that we balanced the tire before putting it back on the Suburban. We also removed three other nails that did not go thru.
